From iconic Japanese brand Postalco, a pocket-sized A7 notebook for writing and drawing. From Postalco: "I first saw this distinct patterned paper glued to windows in Nagano and other places. The light filters through it beautifully, reminding me of stained glass windows. With this hand dyed paper bonded the cover of our classic notebooks it feels almost like carrying around a small window."
These distinct looking patterns are hand-dyed using a traditional shibori technique. Each sheet of washi paper is folded into a series of rectangles and dipped in trays of dye. For this reason, each notebook varies slightly in coloration.
The inside paper is acid free and uses renewable fibers. The washi paper is thick enough for writing on both sides. Made to keep its natural surface yet also reduce ink bleed. For use with ballpoint, pencil, felt tip, or gel ink pens. No chlorine bleach or heavy metals used. Made in Japan.
5 inches long and 3 3/8 inches wide.
