This lovely set of cotton napkins was hand-dyed by New York-based textile artist Samantha Verrone following the Japanese dyeing technique known as Shibori. Using synthetic fiber reactive dyes by Procion, the process involves folding, twisting, and bunching cloth to create unique variations of color and pattern so each napkin will be slightly different.
A portion of the profit is donated to support New Yorkers in need.
Made by hand in the Bronx.
Approximately 20 x 20 inches
Machine wash cold, gentle cycle; hang dry or tumble dry low.
