Saul Leiter (1923-2013), master photographer rediscovered in his 80s and acclaimed worldwide, worked in New York from the 1950s as a fashion photographer. This Photograph collection zooms in on profound works that emotionally express his view of life and have the structural feel of ukiyo-e. The collection of about 200 works includes early street photographs, advertising photographs, private nudes, and paintings. The works combined with his comments manifest his life philosophy and aesthetic sense.
