Translation missing: en.products.general.regular_price $225.00
Details

Dating from the early 20th century, this hand-carved shallow wooden bowl, or mayuzara, was used for sericulture (the production of silkworms), a common practice in Japanese homes at the time. These hand-carved cocoon plates have a warm feel to them and can also be used as trays to hold fruit or potpourri.

This product is an antique that has been around for many years. Please understand that scratches, stains, and distortions that are not shown in the photos are part of the item's individuality.

Inner surface is a little rough, so recommended for dry goods only.
