100% linen square towel by Danish textile artist Karin Carlander. The linen is spun from flax naturally grown and retted on the ground at fields stretching from Caen in France through Belgium to Amsterdam. Each textile has woven selvedges as an important reference to hand-weaving and the artistic process.
Because linen acts as a natural preservative, this towel may also be used to wrap bread to preserve freshness.

For maximum absorbancy, soak the textile in cold water overnight before first wash. Iron while damp or leave to dry for a natural wrinkled look. Minor shrinkage will occur. Softens with use.
