Gyokuro means “pearl dew” and is among the finest of the Japanese teas. It yields a varied taste, from bittersweet to fresh.
Making the tea leaves for gyokuro is a very demanding process that requires great knowledge. The shrubs are shaded by bamboo sheets 20 days before they are harvested, which helps them develop a deep green leaf with a relatively high tea content and a very special, soft yet full flavor.
Comes in a resealable 100 gram bag.
