Nobue Ibaraki's collection of earthenware works are all hand built with natural glazes that evoke buried treasure. No two works are alike. The slight metallic appearance of these containers is the result of the chemical reaction to the firing, obtained with glazes containing cobalt or copper and clays composed of other metals, as well. Materials are sourced locally in Tajimi, Japan.
These textured vessels each come with a matching lid.
Please note: As these are handmade, slight variations in size and color in each are to be expected.
