Belgian textile designer Renilde de Peuter has built up a reputation for creating beautiful homeware pieces including crochet and knitted works and colorful mobiles. She showcases her creations on her blog, At Swim-Two-Birds, named after Flann O’Brien’s novel. Her most recent works are smyrna seat pads, made out of scraps of fabrics in colors that are often directly inspired by nature. The cushions themselves are beautiful, but so too is the inspirations that Renilde shares with her followers.
