Vintage Sakebukuro Bag

translation missing: en.products.general.regular_price $48.00

Sakebukuro, or sake bags, are used to filter rice water in the sake-making process. They are dyed with persimmon juice, which strengthens the cloth and creates beautiful variations in color. This piece was found by Moth owner Catherine Becker at a Japanese flea market.

Unknown date. In excellent condition. Can be used as a pillowcase or other home decor.
