Designing with antique materials collected during years of travel in East Asia, India, the Middle East, and beyond, Semeno jewelry is made with extensive material research and is characterized by the art of assembling and disassembling. At the end of the process, items of generally different origins and chronologies come together to form a unique piece of jewelry that is refined, durable, and practical for daily use.

Semeno jewelry is handmade with one-of-a-kind antique materials. Examples include an amulet from the B.C. era, a religious glass bead given at church, an ancient coin, and a narayan talisman. These pieces may reflect scratches, chips, and signs of wear from the passage of time.
