Cultivate Series
Crafted in Bōnotsu, at the southwestern tip of the Satsuma Peninsula, where a mild coastal climate, mountain spring water, and sea breezes create rich soil. This series blends local Bōnotsu clay with Amakusa porcelain stone, combining the warmth and texture of earthenware with the strength of porcelain for everyday use.
Each piece reflects the character of its materials and place of origin, with the latitude, longitude, and clay blend ratio stamped on the base.
Firing & Variation
Fired using either oxidation (OF) or reduction (RF) methods, resulting in natural variations in color, glaze, and form. Each piece is unique, with slight differences in tone, texture, and shape. Colors may vary slightly depending on your screen
