CeCe candles are handmade and one of a kind, crafted in Fukuoka City, Japan, by skilled candle artist Yuji Tokunaga. I had the pleasure of meeting him on my recent trip to Japan.
CeCe's soy wax candles are made from vegetable wax (soybean oil), which produces significantly less soot than typical paraffin wax. They are also appealing because they have no chemical scents and emit less CO2.
The fragrances infused into the candles are a unique blend of 100% essential oils, including oriental, woody, and herbal notes, creating a crisp, refreshing scent supported by a spicy warmth that evokes sophistication and comfort.
Each candle is handcrafted, and the flowing wax melts and drips, as if it remembers the passage of time, creating a unique appearance for each candle. This very process is a defining characteristic of CeCe candles.
