Lauren Markley

Lauren Markley is an American contemporary jewelry artist currently based in North Carolina. She began her studies in metalsmithing in 2007, and has since taken courses in New York City, Penland, North Carolina, and Iowa City, Iowa. Her jewelry has an architectural and sculptural quality to it as she explores silver, wood, brass, paint, and textile to create her one-of-a-kind pieces. Markley maintains a studio at The Carter Building in Raleigh, and exhibits at numerous craft shows every year.
