Minä Perhonen is a fashion and textile brand founded in 1995 by designer Akira Minagawa, whose aim is to produce timeless garments. The brand continually aspires to develop new materials and techniques, collaborating with many production centers at home and abroad. The name of the label means "I butterfly" in Finnish, an homage to Minagawa's first visit to Scandinavia at the age of 19.
