Handcrafted in Kyoto by  renowned paper artist Wataru Hatano, this versatile shiki-ita is made by layering handmade Japanese washi paper over a lightweight aluminum core. Repeated applications of natural pigments create rich depth and texture, while a durable urethane coating provides a waterproof finish. Use it as a display mat for cups, sweets, or a small vase.
