Based in Paris, Danish designers Bess Nielsen and Jan Machenhauer founded Épice in 1999 to produce exquisite, uniquely designed scarves and knitwear. Épice aspires to marry the disciplined and functional tradition of Scandinavia with the sublime and refined tradition of India.
Central to the identity of the brand is its creativity; after carefully selecting the size of the scarves, the thread, the color and the association of the original patterns, each piece is woven and printed by hand in India.
