Resin and Brass Earrings

By Tokyo-based designer Miki Fukushima or Mïndy, the Mïndlla earrings are intended to evoke the sun, the moon, and starlight. Designed while the artist is in a state of quiet meditation, the series is also inspired by the memory of light hitting her eyelid to create a pattern—ultimately reminding her of humans' connection to the cosmos.
In Zen, an ensō (円相, "circular form") is a circle that is hand-drawn in one or two uninhibited brushstrokes to express a moment when the mind is free to let the body create.
These earrings feature ink painted on resin encased in a brass circle, and metal beads.
