This versatile sheer textile can be used as a table runner or displayed as wall décor. The cotton fabric is hand dyed with multiple layers of kakishibu (Japanese persimmon tannin) and finished with an iron mordant. Due to the unique properties of these natural dyes, the color will gradually oxidize and deepen over time, developing a rich patina unique to each piece.

Some dye transfer may occur during the first 3–4 washes, but this will gradually subside as the color stabilizes.
