The Funagata Bag by Kazumi Takigawa is inspired by the simple form of a paper bag, combining natural materials with thoughtful design. Crafted from durable cotton canvas, each bag is dyed using organic and natural dyes such as coffee, tea, oolong tea, alum mordant, and iron mordant, giving every piece its own unique depth and character.

A waxed finish provides structure while allowing the bag to develop a beautiful patina over time. As the wax naturally softens and fine creases appear with use, the bag can be refreshed by lightly ironing or warming it with a hair dryer, restoring its crisp appearance. Features a spacious main compartment.

This mini version has various uses. It could store pencils, dried flowers, and small treasures.
