Handmade by contemporary Japanese ceramic artist Yukimichi Kiyooka, this oval plate embodies simplicity with a captivating richness. Kiyooka’s work is defined by his masterful use of glazes—such as shoshakuyu (crystal white), kaibakuyu (grayish white), blue ash, and olive ash—which highlight the warmth of the underlying clay and bring out a range of subtle textures.
