New from Tamaki Niime is an "Asobi" version of their popular Medium Roots Shawl. Dyed using a combination of traditional tie-dye and wooden plate techniques, this one-of-a-kind piece is created through a playful, experimental process.
This soft, wool and cotton shawl is featherlight and designed for easy daily use.
No two scarves by Tamaki Niime are alike; each is made with the banshu weaving style, using vintage looms and the saki-zome technique of pre-dyeing before weaving.
Handmade in Hyogo, Japan.
