This jacket is made from 100% cotton tsuri-tenjiku, knitted on a traditional loopwheel machine at about 1/180th the speed of modern high-speed machines. The slow process reduces tension on the yarn, allowing for a denser, more durable knit with excellent shape retention—even after repeated washing.
Its design features a roomy, flat silhouette with no shoulder seams or armholes, allowing it to drape naturally on many body types. The front is finished with snap buttons, and pocket openings are reinforced for durability. Built with the inherent strength of loopwheel fabric, this jacket is made to be worn, repaired, and enjoyed for years.
