Crafted from Amakusa porcelain stone and finished with a soft wood ash glaze and a rust edge, this rectangular serving plate features gently indented corners inspired by the traditional Japanese mokko shape.

"Edge rust" refers to a technique where an iron-containing glaze is applied to the edge of the pottery to create a brown rim.
