The Fukamushi Kabusecha tea is produced with a "long-term steam," a process that steams the tea 2-3 time longer than that of a sencha, and has also been covered, growing in the shade for about a week before being picked. This results in a sweeter and more nuanced taste.
This Japanese green tea can be enjoyed hot as well as cold; brewing the loose leaves in cold water will need to soak for a longer time.
