Details

Made by Japanese ceramicist Mineko Nishimura. These cups have a round, pleasing shape with a jade green glaze with subtle brown speckles.

A native of Ibaraki, Mineko Nishimura completed programs at the Industrial Technology Institute of Ibaraki's Ceramic Forming and Glaze Departments in 2014 and 2015.

She currently works at her studio in Kasama, producing functional tableware for daily use. Her vessels will develop subtle crackle patterns with use and age.
