These wide, straight-leg, pull-on pants have an elastic waist, a zipper front, an interior drawstring, and belt loops. The pants feature side pockets and back pockets.
These pants are constructed with a sense of rugged utility and craftsmanship. Thick 20-count stitching, reinforced belt loops, and a wide hem facing contribute to their structured feel and durability. The waist string—crafted from an original cord made in Uji, Kyoto—adds a subtle, thoughtful detail that highlights the care in every element of the design.
The pants are crafted from a uniquely woven fabric produced in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka, using an old-fashioned shuttle loom. While slower than modern machinery, the shuttle loom weaves each weft thread with care, resulting in a dense yet breathable fabric. The warp is made of cotton, and the weft of linen—blending the softness of cotton with the crisp, smooth texture of linen. The result is a material that feels paper-light yet durable, with a firm structure that keeps it from clinging to the skin—ideal for midsummer wear.
The waist measures 26" unstretched and 30" stretched. The inseam measures 27", the rise is 13", the thigh is 13", and the hem width is 9".
These pants will get softer with each wash.
Cassie is 5'8" and wearing the size 1 (the only size available).
