SyuRo tin boxes are handcrafted in Japan at the SyuRo studio in Torigoe, Tokyo. Skilled artisans use traditional methods to cut and hammer the metal into shape. Each box has a lid and is ideal for storing tea or small items like jewelry and stationery.

Over time, these tins will gracefully change color and age as the metal oxidizes. Joints are prone to rust because the product is designed without rustproofing for a vintage feel. Handling the tin with bare hands will add luster and depth to the container's surface, which is also brushed during the manufacturing process for added texture.
