The large mortar bowl is made using traditional Iwami clay that has excellent durability. The silicone base keeps the bowl from shifting during use. This bowl is perfect for making things such as crushing nuts and seeds, making salad dressing, and grinding herbs or spice mixes. This bowl is equipped with a spout for easy pouring.
The wooden surikogi stick (pestle) is perfect to help with grinding food evenly and easily.
