The MATCHA Lipped Bowl is a traditional size for matcha tea. In it, you mix the matcha green tea powder with hot water and whisk it vigorously in a zigzag motion until it is frothy. It is designed not for individual usage but for sharing in a group. The bowl comes lipped to easily serve matcha tea in tea cups. This design takes a more modern approach.
It is made of porcelain in a cream-like color with a matte texture to accentuate the matcha tea color. OJI Masanori delicately designed this line in continuation of his dedication to SUSUMUYA.
