Inspired by the traditional Korean art of pojagi patchwork, this contemporary Japanese textile by Japanese arist Yoshimi Kudo is composed of hand-joined panels of natural linen in a harmonious arrangement of geometric forms. Dyed with traditional kakishibu (fermented persimmon tannin), the fabric features a beautiful range of warm ivory, taupe, and earthy brown tones, with subtle variations created by the natural dyeing process.
Lightweight and softly textured, this one-of-a-kind textile functions beautifully as wall art, a table covering, or a decorative accent.
