Details

An original illustrated postcard from the late Taishō to early Shōwa period featuring a whimsical domestic scene with humorous Japanese text. The opening line reads, "It's not enough to keep only your fingers clean—you should keep your toes clean as well." Printed in warm colors with charming cartoon-style artwork, the reverse features the original divided-back postcard format with a decorative stamp box and "CARTE POSTALE – MADE IN JAPAN" imprint. A delightful piece of vintage Japanese ephemera for collectors of postcards, illustration, and early Japanese design.

Shows some discoloration consistent with age.
