This vintage Japanese noodle strainer is handcrafted from bent wood and woven bamboo.
Traditionally used to lift and drain soba or udon noodles, the open lattice basket allows water to drain quickly while securely holding food. The long, gently curved handle provides a comfortable grip, and the natural wood has developed a warm patina over time.
