Oval earrings crafted from handmade Kurotani washi paper from Kyoto and dyed by a Kyoto-based indigo artisan. The natural residue from the indigo dye is intentionally left in the paper, creating distinctive layers of pale blue, muted indigo, and warm brown. Variations in the age of the indigo dye bath give each piece its individual coloring and character. Backed with resin to maintain their shape.
The post is made from surgical-grade stainless steel.
