From Post O’Alls, this season’s new addition is the California Pegtop. Pegtop trousers originated in the United States in the 1950s and are defined by a no-waistband construction, two front pleats, and a tapered silhouette.
Designer Takeshi Ohfuchi revises the style through his own lens, recalling denim and corduroy pegtops worn with coveralls in the 1980s. While traditional pegtops feature patch pockets at the back, the Post O’Alls version is finished with double welt pockets for a cleaner, more adaptable look.
