Lapuan Kankurit

KIPOT Kitchen Towel

Translation missing: en.products.general.regular_price $48.00

This jacquard patterned KIPOT towel is designed by Helmi Liikanen. Helmi describes the creation of patterns: "Sometimes small moments at home can fuel my imagination. The KIPOT design is inspired by the shapes formed by piled up cups and plates. The change of weft yarn makes stripes on the background of the design, so that my cups get shelves to stand on. I find it fun to draw something geometric, so that the resemblance is not quite obvious at the first glance."

This tea towel is well-finished and made of easy-care linen-cotton blend. Lapuan Kankurit is part of the Masters of Linen organization, which guarantees that the flax they use is of the best European quality. The products are woven in their own weaving mill in Lapua, Finland, in the heart of South Ostrobothnia’s fields.
