A beautifully worn vintage Japanese gotoku (五徳), or iron pot stand, traditionally used over charcoal braziers and irori hearths. Crafted from hand-forged iron, this three-legged stand features twisted inner supports and a circular frame designed to hold kettles, teapots, or cooking pots above an open flame.
Its rich, naturally rusted patina speaks to decades of use and gives it a sculptural, wabi-sabi presence.
Likely Taishō–early Shōwa (1910s–1940s)
